The International Development Policy Unit’s purpose is to mainstream the environment into future development policies and practice. To do this, we influence international development policy in the UK, EU and UN to ensure the environment is considered in all aspects of development. We work to ensure the SDGs are implemented by government, businesses and civil society.

We’re looking for a committed, collaborative and experienced individual to fill the new position of WWF SDG Hub Manager, reporting to the Head of International Development Policy.

The WWF network has recently refreshed its global strategy around 9 major issues: Forests, Oceans, Freshwater, Food, Energy & Climate, Wildlife, Governance, Finance and Markets. This position has been created to manage the new SDG Hub, one of the flagship initiatives in the Governance strategy, offering an opportunity to shape this work from the start.

The SDG Hub Manager will facilitate and support engagement of WWF offices throughout the world to drive their countries towards sustainable development.  The post-holder will help maximise the sharing of experiences from engaging on SDGs with the public and private sector, and will also support advocacy, communications, research and analysis activities.  Occasional travel may be required.
