This role as Supporter Engagement Editor for the world’s leading independent conservation organisation is the opportunity you have been waiting for. At the WWF we are stepping up to the fight for our world and we need you to help us attract, engage and inspire members of the public to join us and financially support our work.


Join us and you will help retain supporters by taking them on an inspiring journey with each touchpoint creating the best customer experience and keeping them on board and giving. You will create and produce key supporter products, predominately those aimed at juniors, such as Go Wild! magazine and the accompanying booklets for Amazing Planet. This will involve scheduling, planning, sourcing, writing and editing compelling copy that inspires the next generation to be lifetime conservation supporters. Important will be the ability to ensure our brand values and our global reputation for scientific credibility remain intact. You will also collaborate with colleagues to continually review, test and refine the kids club offerings, including researching and supporting new product development. You will take responsibility for scheduling work, allocating resources, leading idea generation and signing finished work too.


An experienced editor/professional writer, you possess the highest standards of written English and excellent proof reading and editing skills. A good project manager you will have a background in creating customer magazines ideally for a junior audience. You will be used to designing and producing content for print and social media. Effective at inspiring editorial contributors, you will excel at planning and creating powerful stories to engage multiple audience segments.


Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, you will have excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills too. Effective at managing projects you will be results driven, keen to share ideas and able to motivate those around you to produce of their best.


Photographic editing skills and InDesign skills would be an advantage, and experience of writing and editing fundraising materials would be highly regarded.
