As Senior Strategic Planner we want you to take the lead in our external communications planning process. This will involve taking responsibility for finding new and effective solutions that will enhance our existing processes for the long-term planning of our external affairs. You will report and evaluate processes while also advising teams on how to develop better briefs, utilising your expertise in marketing and communications to support colleagues achieve better results. You will ensure colleagues understand our strategic communications priorities and make sure we have the planning tools in place to manage and communicate our external activity. You will work closely with the WWF International planning team to align priority communications within our network too. Important will be the ability to analyse overall effectiveness and make recommendations to enhance future performance. You will also help develop a strong planning team focused delivering greater impact for our communications.

 

You must have significant strategic planning experience gained at a senior level within an agency or in-house marketing environment. You will be expert at developing and delivering integrated strategies and campaigns as well as used to project management within a complex stakeholder landscape. You will have been heavily involved in key message and creative development for multiple audiences as well as multi-channel campaign planning too.

 

Comfortable influencing stakeholders, you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to inspire individuals to work more effectively. Good at building relationships, you will have a collaborative style and be familiar with leading teams in matrix working systems. You will also be used to nurturing new talent.
