At WWF we have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious China Fundraising intern to gain valuable experience in fundraising, event planning, communication and project work with a major international NGO working at the forefront of international conservation. China has become one of the main players in the world stage. As the world’s biggest world economy, with increasing outreach to the rest of the world, we see influencing Chinese policy makers, business and society as key to delivering our mission. You will be involved in helping deliver a Climate event, jointly organised with the Chinese embassy, supporting illegal wildlife trade outreach activities and assisting draft an engagement strategy. This will involve working with the Embassy to identify and approach potential Chinese champions to support our work. You will also provide assistance with ad hoc pieces of research and translations as well as help colleagues understand Chinese law and regulations more fully.

In this role, we will look to include you in areas of our work that interest you as well as build your knowledge and skills.

A Mandarin speaker, you must have a deep understanding of Chinese culture and knowledge of UK based Chinese community. A sound administrator, you will be highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines. You will be detail orientated and must possess good communication and PC skills.
